Really? My recollection is that you stated that "misleading" was necessary
before fiction books could be returned. I pointed out that other
businesses do not require anything more than dissatisfaction in order to
justify a return, although the example I gave suggests that they might 
require that the item be in new condition before allowing a return. It
also seems reasonable to have a time limit.

Note that this ia a returns policy for a *bookstore*, and this policy
clearly applies to books.

It appears that Borders also has a returns policy that allows returns on
books.

So - back to the thread that started this - if someone is deeply
dissatisfied with a book (possibly because it had lesbian characters, but
this wasn't known until after purchase), why not offer a refund?

I realize this gets a little odd with ebooks, but if real bookstores allow
returns on paper books, while ebooks are not returnable (and usually are
not resellable), it only contributes to the reduced perceived value of the
ebook relative to a paper book.
