Didn't anyone consider using a timeframe like 10 years instead of 26
checkouts? I think that's much more realistic and more easily trackable and
manageable in terms of digital rights.
And by the way, for what it's worth, these big publishers are not going to
be able to compete with self-publishers who will not be putting any such
shackles on their books.
