If you've ever been to Los Angeles, on any street corner in poorer
neighborhoods (even ones with rent above $1,200), you see hawkers peddling
illegal CDs and DVDs.

You may wonder why the LAPD drives right by them. It's whack-a-mole, that's
why. It doesn't matter if you prosecute these guys ten ways to Sunday. They
are just going to keep doing it as long as our society is free and people
buy it.

The same thing goes for the government doing this. I can put up a website,
sell whatever I want, watch to see if a .gov visits the site and then shut
it down. Whack-a-mole.

We don't need to waste our tax money on this crap.

Many authors think that pirated books are fantastic because it exposes
people to their work that they otherwise would never see.

Big Brother is big enough, isn't it?
