DeCleyre Collective 

Informational and Strategy meeting on 
September IMF/WB protests in Washington DC

DeCleyre Collective would like to invite your organization to take part in a
meeting regarding the upcoming IMF/WB protests this September.

DeCleyre Collective is a multi-issue, anti-capitalist anarchist collective.
We were interested in organizing an event around the IMF/WB protests in
September. We decided that a panel that included groups like SUSTAIN,
Anti-Capitalist Convergence, Anti-Capitalists of Color Coalition,
Mobilization for Global Justice, and Jubilee USA would offer a range of
opinions, style of actions, and diversity of political affiliations that
will interest many people in Philadelphia and get them interested in
participating in some of the demonstrations, actions, and conferences going
on in Washington DC during the IMF/WB meetings (September 26-30). It will be
a informational meeting that will facilitate discussion and organizing
between Philadelphia based organizations and DC based organizations.

Participating DC Organizations:
*Anti-Capitalist Convergence: Organizing The People's Strike day of action
on Friday September 27th. 
*Anti-Capitalists of Color Collective
*Mobilization for Global Justice: Organizing September 28th March and Rally.
IMF/WB 
*SUSTAIN(Stop US Tax-funded Aid to Israel Now!) Organizing demonstration
around second anniversary of the current intifada, and their Caterpillar
campaign.
*Mayday DC: D.C. Anti-Gentrification and homeless rights org.
 
Other organizations who have not confirmed participation, but may attend:
Washington Innercity Self Help, Jubilee USA, and Organized COUP.

There will also be time for affinity groups, organizations, medical and
legal support etc...to meet and discuss logistics with DC organizations.

At 7:30 there will be a panel including the same DC groups that are
participating in the meeting. The panel will be aimed at a large diverse
audience of people from Philadelphia who are interested in learning about
what will be going on in DC, but do not want to attend the meeting.  The
speakers will have 10 minutes to talk about their organization and what they
have planned for the actions, following this there will be a question and
answer session.
