Perhaps you can go into a little more detail about your sources? Not that 
it doesn't fit logically, just that some empirical information may 
highlight the why's . . . not to mention a few how's for those raising 
children outside of the common nuclear family (whether as single parents - 
adoptive or biological - extended family members, same-sex couples, etc.)
