Laura's hand gesture

This seems rather obvious to me, but I haven't seen it written 
online yet, so I wanted to point it out, and ask what sort of 
connection it might serve.

Laura's hand gesture in the last episode of the series, where she 
sort of snaps her finger and points down, seated in the Red Room...

That's the same hand gesture she makes in FWWM, in the weird red-lit 
Canadian bar/club thingy. She's seated topless next to Ronette at a 
booth, accross from some trucker dude, and she snaps her fingers 
like that to "order" him to slink under the table and perform some 
sort of sexual act on both of them at once.

I'm pretty sure that it's the same hand gesture on purpose. 
Although, I'm not really sure why the connection exists, i.e. why 
Laura makes the hand gesture again in the Red Room.
