copy-paste from web

I discovered AbiWord because I can't always print as pdf articles
directly from the
web (example quora answers printing only one page at a
time) and must paste to a word processor first and don't want to run a
behemoth like Word.

Word retains basic formatting which makes reading the article better,
however AbiWord doesn't.

Google search turned up an old post saying this may be supported in
newer but not old AbiWord.

I'm on windows (so AbiWord 2.8.6). Can I get clarification on this or
any advice of another light weight program which might do what I need?
