It's not hard to change "Language" to "Source=20 > Language" and then the software will be clearer. And *my* point is that if you knew a bit more about gettext (which you should if you're using it in your app), you would know that the source is English and hence "Language" field on *single-language* translation catalog must mean the translation language. You're right that being explicit wouldn't hurt, though, thanks for the tip.
