thank you ross.  even though there are archives, i feel that sometimes it is
necessary that certain things be repeated.  although i won't take it out of
proportion, i think the need to repeat certain things exists, especially
since the dgroup membership is growing and will include persons not too
familiar with our history, etc.  of course, this does not mean that i'm
going to ask you about burrokeet like this every two weeks.  i did have to
ask you this time because of how you had worded the email.

you described the CIS Project as a "non-entity" and "irrelevant" and i agree
with you, but only if it's in the context that it is not a legal entity.

formalising the CIS is not a responsibility i can take on right now, at
least not until my post-graduate studies are completed.  this should be some
time next year.  however, if anyone wants to take the lead role to take us
in that direction then please come forward.
