WorldBook permalinks

If you subscribe to WorldBook, do the permalinks, when used with a proxy
prefix, go to the database level and not to the article?

A url that should be
https://www.worldbookonline.com/student-new/#/article/home/ar027260 ends up
as https://www.worldbookonline.com/student-new/#/article/home/ where
"ar######" is stripped off.
