Folks,

Perhaps someone can shed some light on how/why ECB changes the load-path variable...

I use ECB and CEDET. In my .emacs, I specify the load-path variable to have all the site-lisp subdirectories, including .../cedet/semantic/ctags.

When my .emacs is finished loading, load-path has the .../ctags directory.

After .emacs finishes loading, ecb auto-activates. After this, though, the load-path contents have been changed. Most significant among the changes, load-path **does not** contain the .../ctags directory any more.

I then have to manually update load-path to carry the .../ctags path.

Does anyone have any thoughts/guidance how to control ECB's manipulation of the load-path variable?

Thanks,

Nate
