for ECB this is (from command line): 
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/ecb checkout -P ecb
Info-doc: Just call ecb-show-help (bound to [C-c . h]) and the info-help of ECB will displayed - it should be self-explanatory -start with Overview and "How to use the manual"... the Installation-chapter might be interesting too ;-))

Hey, there!

I'm totally new to ECB, but I am very experienced in use all the bells and whistles of Emacs and all its cool add-ons such CEDET, Icicles, etc. Therefore I have a few questions about ECB;

- Could you please give a complete call to cvs checkout for your ecb repo? This is not given on your homepage. Instead a link to a VIewCVS is given.
- I really like info docs. Does these give me a good intro on how to start using ECB. I really like to take things one at a time and use each new feature for a while before testing a new one? My favorite coding language is C++.
