The unit would not be eliminated for failure to rout since it did route
and is not adjacent to an keu (known enemy unit). Alternately, it could
have low crawled, provided it did not end up adjacent to a keu and was
moving further away from keu's. Nothing I've read in the rules requires
the routing unit to expend all 6 MF.

I believe it would be considered a viable stopping point, if as you
said
all other legal considerations are taken into account. The unit has
moved
as far away as it could under the conditions.

I think that would be eliminated for leaving the playing area. Once off
the board they're "gone" and, I believe, counted for CVP. SSR may alter
the CVP part though.
