Hi, I was reading an overview of OpenGL 3.0 in the following slides: http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nvision08-opengl.html I noticed slide #9 says glBegin / glEnd rendering is now deprecated. I've googled a bit, mostly reading about how 3.0 wasn't the new API many developers were hoping for, etc. But I'm still wondering what it means to render without Begin/End ? Sorry, my OpenGL knowledge is very dated. My red book and blue book are V1.1. :) But if anyone could recommend links for further reading or a simple overview of, say, how one might properly render something simple like a cube without glBegin/glEnd, I'd be grateful. What's the general idea behind non-Begin/End rendering? Thanks!
