Well, agreed.
But Bill's post explicitly said that he knew _some_ think OpenGL is dead
and all the snuff ... in order to avoid those kind of replies not to
call for them.
All my post was about is that Sylvain's position (being so biased and
definitive in addition to be inappropriate) does nothing but harm.

Why not, this is so consensual nowadays I won't fight, but I'd put it in
the opposite way :
The fact that ARB is the slowest body on the planet, and DirectX 10 is
just much more flexible and less cluttered doesn't exclude that OpenGL
is still the only solution for some platforms and has nothing to do with
the Begin/End question.
I apologize however if my sadness sounded like harshness or hunger, this
is not a flame war.
