Allow me to step into the line of fire here. I'd like each participant of the ongoing discussion to consider the constructiveness of the arguments brought foreward. Solutions to problems are build upon constructive participation. Problems are analyzed on observation. Their evaluation can only take place on facts. Where facts are missing, reasonable assumptions are to be made. They should be clearly marked as such and can be constructed again by observation and weighing of possible alternatives. How shall we, the participants of this discussion, honestly and wholeheartedly expect the ARB commitee to fruitfully design the future of OpenGL, if even we, who constitute the active community, cannot constructively design a discussion and reach a baseline? What are our options? What can we actively and constructively do? Take some time to consider these questions, so do I, Christian ----- FAQ and OpenGL Resources at: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Hills/9956/OpenGL -- Author: Christian Heckl INET: [email protected] Fat City Hosting, San Diego, California -- http://www.fatcity.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [email protected] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB OPENGL-GAMEDEV-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
