Hmm...well a smart move then would be to spread some lies using this 
forum.:)

Its not so much Predictability nor unpredictability but your ability 
to gauge your opponent.(which holds true for Poker also)
And if you prove to everyone how UNpredictable you are then perhaps 
that key ally will prefer the "devil he knows to the one he doesn't".
And THAT is sure death.

Because sure-er than "predictability will kill you in Diplomacy" is 
the belief that you can get the job all done by yourself.

You can use that.
