However, it doesn't yet deal well with large amounts of imagery and FlightGear also does not deal well with paging imagery. 99.9999% of the existing scenery is built from SRTM data + vector land use/land cover features + generic/representative textures. We would like to explore imagery based scenery at some point, but time is always the limiting factor. If you have good imagery and want to pursue this from a development angle, let me know.
