But I didn't want to get nit-picky with ESR :) That's OK, I'll pick nits right back at you. The Gondorians don't describe themselves as Dunedain in the books. :-) > FWIW, I created the Freeciv Dunedain and Mordor nations. If you look at the civserver logs, you'll find the Dunedan > are one fot the most popular nations :) Hmmmm.... "Barad-Dûr", "Durthang", "Orodruin", "Morannon", "Dol Guldur", "Minas Morgul", "Cirith Ungol", "Moria", "Angmar", "Gorgoroth", "Morgai", "Nurn", "Khand", "Rhûn", "Harad", "Dagorlad", "Ephel Dúath", "Ered Lithui", "Emyn Muil", "Núrnen", "Poros", "Harnen", "Lugbúrz", "Angband", "Carn Dûm", "Utumno", "Amon Amarth", "Uruk-hai", "Olog-hai", "Azog", "Bolg", "Gorbag", "Shagrat", "Grishnákh", "Glamhoth" OK, so I'll swallow the non-Mordor locations; the above is really a list of Middle-Earth's evil places. But why the heck did you name Mordorian cities after races and individual orcs? I think this list should stop at "Amon Amarth", really. You could add "Thangorodrim", Morgoth's citadel in the First Age. And, arguably, "Orthanc". -- Eric S. Raymond
