They are still "men of westernesse" (IIRC, I don't have my sources with
me ATM) - just the blood has been watered down by the generations. I
can't recall which, but a historical king of Gondor was responsible for
uniting "The northern and southern Dunedain".

I agree with Eric here - cities named after comparatively minor
characters seems remarkably odd. If you're desperate to include them,
make them leaders, which would be almost as weird.
