Then if you build the road in L to the more crossings, it is you choice. I did see that arrows in editor and maybe in game, because I have in game often Road building toolbar open. But trams going towards the road vehicles are not logical too. Yes, the best would be to build tram tracks like in the Traffic Giant, only for one direction at the time.
