With that in mind, we will be scheduling a slot in IETF#126 OPSAREA Meeting= to expose these ICMP-related work to the OPS community by providing a big = picture of various extensions, highlighting the operational issues addresse= d by the extensions, and discuss deployability challenges of some of these = extensions. This is also an opportunity to seek for feedback from operators= . The discussion may also assess if some guidance about extending ICMP/ICMP= v6, while taking into account deployment matters, may be useful. Ron kindly accepted to lead that discussion (thanks!).
