Wholeheartedly agreed.  I seriously doubt that anyone is actually
successfully using this feature in RFC 2822 now.  One just doesn't notice
because no one tries, and even if they do try, message ID matching
differences aren't particularly noticable in e-mail the way that they are
on Usenet.
