Thanks to hasty arrangements by Julian, I was invited to be "a CDR
representative" on the World Service programme that page is about. I had
about 3 minutes to get my point across. I was able to mention the main
points of the corrupt CD campaign - that it inconvieniences legitimate
users, especially those with MP3 players, while not stopping music from
getting on the P2P services; and that open non-restricted music was what
people wanted.

The world service has an impressive audience. There were callers from
Bhutan, Nigeria, Argentina, Russia ... many of whom were complaining about
the price of CDs in their countries. That web page is completely
representative of the views presented on the programme. There was one and
only one "stealing is stealing" person there. Frankly, the general public
is leading the charge on this one :)
