[ACPI-sppt] Best laptop supported by ACPI?

Hi,

I'm one of the masses who hasn't been able to get the ACPI "sleep" states=20
working on my laptop; speed stopping is also unsupported.

I'm newly in the market for a new laptop for my wife, and I want one that d=
oes=20
"sleep" (not swsusp) reliably.  She's currently on an older Dell Latitude,=
=20
where APM works pretty well, but she needs an upgrade.  I know, from watchi=
ng=20
the devel list, that there are laptops where ACPI is mostly working as it=20
should.  My question is, which of these is best supported at the moment? =20
Does anybody have any stories of stellar success with ACPI?  If so, on what=
=20
hardware?
