[ACPI-sppt] Re: No /proc/acpi with 2.6.0-test1 on IBM Thinkpad R32?!

I got a hint by PM stating that I should upgrade my BIOS. I have
now release 2.11 (2.01a before) from
http://www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-43571.html
and the ACPI stuff works more or less:

lappi:~# acpi -V
     Battery 1: unknown, 99%
     Thermal 1: ok, 58.0 degrees C
     Thermal 2: ok, 50.0 degrees C
  AC Adapter 1: on-line

That's ok. The sleep states availble through /proc/acpi/sleep do
not work. S4 and S5 simply seem to crash the machine. S3: The
notebook comes back but is no longer usable: X crashes and
without X, the keyboard is not working anymore, network is OK
though. The error messages for S3 in syslog are

both several dozen times (with slight modifications in the
numbers).

The CPU throttling in /proc/acpi/processor/CPU/throttling seems
to work:

I am using /proc/acpi/processor/CPU/limit now to reduce power
consumption when off AC a little bit. Having a sleep state would
be even better (for lid switch action).
