Hi

I'm running 2.6.0-test3, and echoing a date to /proc/acpi/alarm doesn't work:

bash$ echo `date --date=+2minute +"%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S"` > /proc/acpi/alarm
bash$
bash$ dmesg
...
irq 9: nobody cared!

Does anybody have any clues as to what is going wrong?

Thanks

John
