I have a ThinkPad R32. Only the most recent BIOS' and kernel patches work
properly. I have ACPI subsystem 20030522 and a BIOS from April.

Maybe you should update your BIOS to the most recent version? Also, you might
like to include some useful info in your e-mail, such as your BIOS version and
date, and the kernel and ACPI subsystem versions that you are using, and what
you have tried to get things working.

I personally can't get suspend modes to work, but I haven't tried all that
hard either.
