[ACPI-sppt] patch not required for 2.4.22?

There's a note on http://sylvestre.ledru.info/howto/howto_acpi.php saying
that:
	New (25/08/2003), Kernel :
	Since the new kernel (2.4.22), this ACPI patch is by default included
	in it.
	
Is this true? I didn't see anything on acpi.sf.net that would suggest
that...
