most Widely used linux distrubusion + versus freebsd

Hi Everyone,

I've started working for a big corporate company and they are a Microsoft
shop!,

I'm part of the Linux/Unix migration and I need to find out which linux
distribution is most widely used and the ratio between linux and freebsd,
which is the best option,

At the moment it seems that Mandrake is the most widely used linux dist
cause of its user friendlyness and debian is almost as secure as Freebsd,
stuff like that,

In terms of support as well, which ones do u guys think is the winner

I may start a poll here ;-)
