It began after I set aRts to use ALSA instead of autodetect, because sound didn't work in the first place. Warning - arts message Sound Server warning message Can't set real-time scheduling priority. You need to run artswrapper as root or setuid root. This means that you will likely not be able to produce accetable sound (i.e. without click and breaks).
