Just in case anybody is interested, I'm currently going through and
upgrading all the packages on my aurora linux 1.0 system up to the same
versions that rh9 is currently using.

I'm this close to getting gcc32 to install completely. It is compiling
fine, but I keep finding little things in the spec file that haven't
been fixed for sparcs, so I'm fixing those little by little.
Unfortunately, this generally means I have to start the build process
all over again (unless someone knows of a way I can continue from a
certain point).

There are a lot of circular dependencies, so I have to recompile
packages for newer versions of libraries, and a whole bunch of things.
It is going to take some time, but it seems to be going pretty well so
far.

It is being built on an Ultrasparc 10: My /proc/cpuinfo

cpu : TI UltraSparc IIi (Sabre)
fpu : UltraSparc IIi integrated FPU
promlib : Version 3 Revision 25
prom : 3.25.2
type : sun4u
ncpus probed : 1
ncpus active : 1
Cpu0Bogo : 878.18
Cpu0ClkTck : 000000001a39de00
MMU Type : Spitfire
State:
CPU0: online

Anyway, just some info for you guys. Perhaps when I'm done I can
attempt to make a cd distribution using the anaconda tools, or whatever.
