see: Carlo Daffara's paper - openMosix for the creation of low-latency, high-efficiency game clusters link on the openMosix Community page: http://openmosix.sourceforge.net/community.html >>> "Harpalus a Como" <[email protected]> 11/20/2006 9:56:23 AM >>> I'm looking to create a minor gaming cluster LiveCD. I already have a working livecd, compiled with OpenMosix, that I built. I was wondering if I can build a game server to take advantage of clustering. Would I need to compile something designed for it, such as Quake2grid [ http://sourceforge.net/projects/quake2grid], or would I be able to allow something like prboom [http://prboom.sourceforge.net/] to take advantage of multiple threads? Some advice, tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to roll up my sleeves and code some if that's necessary. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
