Re: openmosix on debian sarge

Hi,

the kernel can probably not find the module for the filesystem you have
on your disk (ext3??). The easiest way to fix it is to make sure that
the support for your fs is compiled into the kernel and not loaded as a
module. If you want to have it as a module you would need an initial
ramdisk image with all the modules (initrd). See 'man make-kpkg'.

The default Debian kernel .config has most things as modules, do ls
/boot and look for config-* files, these are the kernel .configs that
were used for the kernels you compiled/came with Sarge.
