hi to all

i have a working ssi cluster with 5 Dell Precision 770 and P790 nodes...

I added all the needed network modules (e1000.o sk98lin.o and tg3.o) in
the initrd file (mkinitrd + ssi-ksync) in order that my different nodes
can boot

a Dell Precision 790 can boot with this tg3.o module embedded in the
initrd file

i recently bought a poweredge 1950 ("pizza box") with an integrated NIC
which seems to be a tiger broadcom, (booting with a knoppix shows a
tg3.o module loaded)

so the tg3.o module (v 3.71) is present in the initrd file.. and
unfortunately this new node poweredge 1950 can not boot

loading tg3.o module
/lib/tg3.o: init_module: no such device
Could not find the NIC used to add this node to the cluster...unable to
continue

i dont understand why this tg3.o module embedded in the initrd file
works for some node and don't work for this new node

what can i do? thanks for any help

does anybody have a dell poweredge 1950 in its ssi cluster?
