You've raised this repeatedly in this discussion, so I just wanted to
note, as an uninvolved bystander, that I think you are misreading
Michael's message. I read his message #17 at the time, and still read it
now, as attempting to clarify *your* position for Helmut so that Helmut
had an accurate understanding of the dispute, not as a change in *his*
position. That's why that sentence starts with the phrase you are omitting
in your quote: "So from this point of view".
