linksys wusb11 v2.8 spotty connection

Hi,

I am using the at76c505-rfmd2958 on my Linksys WUSB11 v2.8, and it
works, but the connection is spotty. Every 5-10 seconds the connection
goes out for a few seconds and comes back.

The WAP has several other wireless clients and they have no problems
like this. Also, v2.6 of the WUSB11 with the atmel-wlan SF driver has no
problems with the same computer/kernel/wireless setup. I am using a
2.4.19 kernel.

I have tried both the CVS and 0.11 of the driver with the same results. 

Unfortunately I cannot try that adapter in another situation to see if
something is wrong with it.

Any ideas?
