IMHO this problem should be solved with the lastest cvs version
(0.12beta15), see my reply to Radu Cornea yesterday, who had exactly the
same error msgs. Mark, please try this version. What's the output of
"uname -a" for your kernel?

Unplugging the device if booting into Linux after Windows may be needed
anyhow, as Nick recommended.

Does someone know why a Fedora kernel  2.6.7-1.494.2.2 actually
contains code from a plain vanilla  2.6.8-rc? Rather confusing numbering
scheme :-(
