OK, I've got the modules (pci-scan.o, cb_shim.o, tulip.o) compiled, but when the system is started, the following messages appear: :Oct 18 13:23:35 lordpopcorn cardmgr[787]: watching 2 sockets :Oct 18 13:23:35 lordpopcorn cardmgr[788]: starting, version is 3.2.5 :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn kernel: cs: cb_alloc(bus 20): vendor 0x1737, device 0xab09 :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn cardmgr[788]: socket 0: Linksys EtherFast PCM200 v2 :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn cardmgr[788]: executing: 'modprobe cb_enabler' :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn cardmgr[788]: executing: 'modprobe pci-scan' :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn kernel: pci-scan.c:v1.11 8/31/2002 Donald Becker <[email protected]> http://www.scyld.com/linux/drivers.html :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn cardmgr[788]: executing: 'modprobe cb_shim' :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn kernel: cb_shim.c:v1.03 7/12/2002 Donald Becker <[email protected]> :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn kernel: http://www.scyld.com/linux/drivers.html :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn cardmgr[788]: executing: 'modprobe tulip' :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn kernel: tulip.c:v0.97 7/22/2003 Written by Donald Becker <[email protected]> :Oct 18 13:23:48 lordpopcorn kernel: http://www.scyld.com/network/tulip.html :Oct 18 13:23:49 lordpopcorn cardmgr[788]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: Resource temporarily unavailable From what I know, the last message should be preceded by some sort of other error message - however, here it isn't. Therefore I don't know what may be the cause of the problem. Any more hints?
