Netgear FA511 problems

Hello,

I recently bought a Netgear FA511 CardBus card with a tulip chip. This
card is listed in the pcmcia-cs as supported but so far I did not
manage to get it working. I tried with kernel 2.2.25, kernel 2.4.22
and kernel 2.6.0-test7 and also with the kernel-drivers and the
drivers from pcmcia-cs. I also tried the original drivers from Donald
Beckers page but I did not have any success so far. 

The card works fine with Windows 2000 on my laptop. It sometimes works
at home when I am connected to my other computer (it only has a
10MBits/s card). I also have other pcmcia-cards that im principal work
with my linux setup.

Inserting the card in my Sony Vaio Notebook running Debian SID gives
the following message:

There seem to be two problems: first the card is identified as Linksys
Fast Ethernet 10/100 and second the EEPROM is not found. 

I read the mailing-list archive and found that other people had
similar problems but there was no solution. Is it at all possible to
get this card working? What can I do?
