Well, some indication of the errors themselves :-)
What you provided only shows that the driver is indeed finding the cards 
and that there are no shared IRQs. Could you send the content of 
/proc/net/dev and output of 'vortex-diag -v' and 'mii-diag -v' on the 
affected card ?
