For roughly the last decade I have used lvm2 and later evms on top of lvm2. The current system was setup as follows: sda5 sdb5 ==> md1 RAID1 soft raid ... md1 contains the base physical volume for lvm2. However, evmsgui now reports that the lvm2 container consumes objects sda5 and sdb5. As far as I remember it should report md1 here. As mentioned in the subject the situation is self inflicted. When starting evmsgui, it ask you whether certain objects are a PV. I have answered "yes" and also confirmed to update the meta data. Is there any possibility to reset the meta data or repair the issue? Or do I have to create everything from scratch? Any help would really be appreciated.
