About: NoMachine NX is a fast terminal server system based on the X11
protocol. In addition, NX also translates and embeds the MS Windows
Terminal Server and VNC protocols into X/NX. NX is an order of magnitude
faster than VNC or X11 and can run on bandwidth as narrow as 10 kBit/sec.
By embedding RDP and RFB, it enables users to compress and accelerate
remote Windows and VNC sessions. NX lets you work fluently even across
slow links like modems. The NX project provides a suite of libraries and
X11 proxying agents implementing efficient compression and optimized
transport of X11, SMB, IPP, HTTP, and arbitrary protocols like audio over
the Internet.

centralizing strong user authentication by using an LDAP server for
retrieving public keys instead of ~/.ssh/authorized_keys. It uses the

security flaws if the LDAP server is not correctly configured.

About: Slam is a mature IC Layout editor with the ability to edit very
large designs (such as stream files larger than 10GB). Novel features
include threading for redraw, support for displaying on multiple X servers
simultaneously, and a Tcl interface to the database for user extensibility.
The system is a library based system with multi-user support. Programmable
structures (P-Cells) are available in Tcl. The editor includes gds input
and output.
Changes: This release adds a new stroke recognition system for command
entry to complement "hot keys", pulldown menus, and fixed menus. Support
was improved for processes needing a large number of layers, such as
TSMC's 65/90/130 nm with 9 level metal. A new DRC interact command was

About: XML User Profiles is a system that allows for remote and
transferable user accounts. The file format is a lightweight but flexible
vCard transformation that allows better profile sharing and simpler
implementations than FOAF. The current specification and a few sample
implementations in PHP are provided. The library currently allows for
authentication against the simple LOGIN interface or the Drupal XML-RPC
service in addition to the distributed and strong authentication LID-1.0
and OpenID-0.0 single-sign-on systems.
Changes: The SHA1 hash representation used for the OpenID HMAC key
encryption has been fixed, and the received signatures are now correctly
decoded prior to comparison in dumb_mode. POST parameters are now
resurrected for communication with fully specification compliant
consumers. Retrieved profiles are buffered in user sessions automatically.
Most of the library and server functionality has been tested against other
implementations. However, the dumb_mode HMAC key replay vulnerability
remains unfixed.
