About: Asymptote is a powerful script-based vector graphics language for
technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like
syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting

About: BINS is a valid HTML 4 photo album generator with support for
internationalization, EXIF, and customizable charset encoding, including
UTF-8 (Unicode). Albums can contains other sub-albums. The appearance of
the album can be fully personalized by using template and configuration
parameters. The number and size of scaled pictures can be chosen in pixels
or percentage of the original image. Several description fields (date,
location, etc.) can be associated with the pictures, and you can add
additional description fields. A command line utility or a GTK+ GUI can be
used to set or edit description fields. BINS can use the EXIF data
structure found in some pictures to automatically fill some fields (most
notably, date and time) and to produce a page providing all information

About: cpufreqd is meant to be a replacement of the speedstep applet you
can find in Windows. It monitors battery level, CPU usage, AC state, and
running programs and adjusts the frequency governor according to a set of
rules specified in the config file.

infratructure. Major new features included support for remote commands,
two sample remote clients with man pages, nforce2-atxp1 support with the
nforce2 plugin, an acpi_temperature plugin, and a complete event

About: JGraph Layout Pro is a high performance graph layout library for
JGraph that automatically positions your graph, diagram, or network in a
visually pleasing manner. Layout Pro provides flexibility and a simple
design, enabling you to use circular, tree, force-directed, and
hierarchical layouts with ease. Example uses are organisational charts,
workflow and process diagrams, call charts, network diagrams, UML tools,
and more. It comes with its own documentation and an example applet.
Changes: Algorithmic improvements were made to the hierarchical layout.
findTreeRoots was added to the facade to provide a means to automatically
determine the roots of any tree. getGraphOrigin was also added to make it
easier flush a graph back to its starting origin. The fast organic layout
takes vertex size into account and works on the center position of cells
rather than the origin position.

About: K3DSurf is a program for visualizing and manipulating
multidimensional surfaces by using Mathematical equations. It's also a
"modeler" for POV-Ray in the area of parametric surfaces. It features 3D,
4D, 5D, and 6D HyperObjects visualization, full support for all functions
(like the C language), support for mouse events in the drawing area,
animation and morph effects, Povscript and mesh file generation, and
support for VRML2 and OBJ files. More than 100 examples are provided.
Changes: Support for 6D HyperObjects was added along with their related
rotational plans (15 in total). Two new sections were added: spherical and
cylindrical coordinates. Support for equations of the form Z^n = f(x,y)
(with n =2,4,.. ) was added and the ability to generate sets of successive
frames for building animations was implemented. Keyboard controls were
added for the independant window. The grid can now be up to 100x100.

About: LFT (Layer Four Traceroute) is a sort of "traceroute" that often
works much faster than the commonly-used Van Jacobson method and goes
through many configurations of packet-filter based firewalls. More
importantly, LFT implements numerous other features, including AS number
lookups through several reliable sources, loose source routing, netblock
name lookups, and more. LFT also distinguishes between TCP-based
protocols, which make its statistics slightly more realistic, and gives a
savvy user the ability to trace protocol routes, not just layer-3 hops.
