About: AgileTrack is an agile development planning and iteration tracking
tool. It assists in the creation and life-cycle of iterations, projects,
stories, tasks, and bugs. It is focused on simplicity and practicality.
Its interface is designed to be useful specifically for software
developers on small development teams with rapidly-changing priorities and
requirements. Its primary interface for developers is geared toward
availability, speed, and purpose. It is flexible and minimalistic with
respect to the data that is required for records. It is designed to be
compatible with agile development methodologies, particularly Extreme
Programming.
Changes: This release has a number of minor new features and a number of
interface bugfixes. HSQLDB support is now fully implemented on both the
client and server. The server configuration file format has been improved.
Copy and paste into spreadsheets is functional. A "Tip of the Day" dialog
has been added. New releases are automatically detected by the client now.
Iteration burn-down charts are now available. The JSON-RPC direct interface
has been fixed so that it is very fast now.

[029] - JD Bible Bot 0.80
by eelik (http://freshmeat.net/users/eelik/)
Mon, Aug 21st 2006 13:48
Communications :: Chat
Religion
About: JD Bible Bot is a chat bot for some instant messaging systems
(mainly Jabber and Google Talk) with which people can read the Holy
Scriptures of Christianity and other related material. The networking part
is based on Jabber technology, and the Bible part is based on diatheke and
the Sword project. Jabber gateways allow this program to be used with MSN,
AIM, Yahoo!, ICQ, and other IM systems. Dozens of Bible translations,
commentaries, lexicons, and other related works can be used.
Changes: This release is a sort of "technology preview": it has important
new features, most notably search and Bible book name localization, but
search works only with the modified diatheke backend, and l10n works
properly with latest diatheke svn. These features are optional at the
moment, and upgrading is recommended anyway because of bugfixes and other
enhancements.

About: monotone is a distributed version control system with a flat peer
model, cryptographic version naming, meta-data certificates, decentralized
authority, and overlapping branches. It works out of a transactional
version database stored in a regular file, and uses a custom network
protocol for efficient database synchronization.
Changes: This is primarily a bugfix and maintainence release. Highlights
include more user-friendly output for "status", easier user selection of
merge tools, and support for paths which are relative to the home
directory when synchronizing over ssh. Occasional hangs on control-C have
been fixed, and signal handling was generally improved. "log <FILES>" is
slightly faster, and does better filtering. A rare bug in "update" has
been fixed. "commit", "cvs_import", "ls unknown", and "ls missing" use
much less memory. Boost is now used rather than popt to parse command line

About: Myrinix - Digital Home Edition is meant to be a smart and

music throughout the network. Diskless client computers can connect with
the server as it performs other tasks. Myrinix - Digital Home Edition is a
bootable Linux live CD derived from Kanotix.
Changes: This release is a rebuild from scratch, not just an upgrade from
previous releases. It removes unwanted libraries and fits in more
programs. Superkaramba has been added, but vlc has been removed
permanently. This release also includes Linux 2.6.17 SMP (support for
newer processor like Pentium/AMD Duo Core), KDE 3.5.4, OpenOffice 2.0.3,

by c_schmitz (http://freshmeat.net/users/cronostitan/)
Mon, Aug 21st 2006 00:33
Internet :: WWW/HTTP
About: PHPSurveyor is a set of PHP scripts that interact with MySQL to
develop surveys, publish surveys, and collect responses to surveys. Once a
survey has been created there are (currently) two ways to insert data into
the survey: either by a 'pretty' public screen which presents each
question one at a time, or by a quick and nasty data entry screen. It
includes the capacity to generate individualised 'tokens', so that
invitations can be issued to participants, which allows for good quality
control of surveys. It also has the capacity to set conditions on whether
questions will display (branching), numerous question types, and a basic
statistics function.
Changes: The interface was completely overhauled. An answer can be limited
based on previous questions. Drag'n'drop can be used to reorder groups or
questions. Data can be exported to SPSS. Saving can be done page-by-page.
The translation system was changed. Date pickers were added in the
interface. The PHPMailer class was added. The survey list is new. The
htaccess password creation was redesigned. ADODB universal database
support was added. Referring URLs can be saved. Survey numbers can be
random. Style sheets are used for the admin interface. Bubble hints were
added. DB versioning was added. Vietnamese, Brazilian Portuguese, and
Finnish translations were added. The Traditional Chinese, Danish, Italian,
