About: 4tH is a Forth compiler with a little difference. Instead of the
standard Forth engine it features a conventional compiler. 4tH is a very
small compiler that can create bytecode, C-embeddable bytecode, standalone
executables, but also works fine as a scripting language. It supports over
85% of the ANS Forth CORE wordset and features conditional compilation,
pipes, files, assertions, forward declarations, enumerations, structures,
suspended execution, recursion, include files, etc. It comes with an RPN
calculator, line editor, compiler, decompiler, C-source generators, and a
virtual machine.

Changes: A bug that prevented using pipes in the Unix/Linux version was
fixed. The word FILES was added. The word SLEEP was renamed to PAUSE.
Several errata were corrected, and a section concerning multitasking was
added to the manual.

About: The ADAPTIVE Communication Environment (ACE) is an object-oriented
(OO) C++ framework that helps you develop and deploy high-performance

and bugs have been fixed. 64-bit support has been improved. STL-style

About: ACL Policy Daemon is a program that communicates with the Postfix
MTA using the Policy Delegation Protocol to implement an ACL (Access
Control List) system, making it very easy to improve and create controls
for your email traffic. It can verify SPF records, and greylisting
support is planned.

Changes: This release brings nice new features like new ACLs (day, time,
rbl), support for using regular expressions on ACLs, and the configuration
of the backend that you want to load your rules. You can currently use a
normal text file. A huge update was made in the documentation.
Installation was made easier.

About: Active port forwarder uses SSL for secure packet tunneling. It is
designed for people without an external IP who want to make some services
available on the Internet. afserver is placed on the machine with a
publicly accessible address, and afclient is placed on the machine behind
a firewall or masquerade. This makes the second machine visible to the
Internet. Running afserver does not require root priviledges, nor does it
use other processes. Zlib is used to compress the transferred data.

Changes: The bug in the ip_listen function (visible on the systems without
IPv6 support) has been fixed.

About: AVL Array is an STL-like container for C++ that fills the gap
between vector (or deque) and list, providing both fast random access and
fast insertion/removal, all O(log n). This is not a map; in an avl_array,
the "keys" always range from 0 to size-1, and they automatically change on
insertion or removal. As a sequence container, like vector and list, it
respects the order of elements.

Changes: This release has HTML documentation, cleaner source code for
readability and compliance with higher standards, performance
improvements, and minor bugfixes.

About: cpufreqd is meant to be a replacement of the speedstep applet found
in Windows. It monitors battery level, CPU usage, AC state, temperature
(sensors and ACPI), and running programs, and adjusts the frequency
governor according to a set of rules specified in the config file.

Changes: This revision just fixes some smaller issues with profile
tracking, but it's still recommended to upgrade.

environment. It summons a drag handle when you are managing files or
information in a shell. It accepts both drags and drops, and can be made
to output dragged-to items to the standard output. You can also pipe text

Changes: This release fixes small bugs from 0.2.2. The path to the
preferences data file was fixed in the build system and in the code. One
tip was added to the man page.

About: EDB (Evan's Debugger) is a QT4 based binary mode debugger with the
goal of having usability on par with OllyDbg. It uses a plugin
architecture, so adding new features can be done with ease. The current
release is for Linux, but future releases will target more platforms.

Changes: Another opcode class, "[esp + 8]->eip", was added in
OpcodeSearcher. The efficiency of searching was improved by reducing
memory comparisons. The ability to double click results in OpcodeSearcher
was added, and doing this will jump the disassembly view to the found
address. The abilities to jump to an address and jump to an EIP were added
to the disassembly view context menu. Instruction analysis was improved.
Scrolling in disassembly view was reduced by only scrolling when a new
instruction isn't in the visible range. The resultant binary was changed
from "debugger" to "edb" to reflect the actual project name.

About: GNU Moe is a powerful, 8-bit clean text editor for ISO-8859 and
ASCII character encodings. It has a modeless, user-friendly interface,
online help, multiple windows, unlimited undo/redo capability, unlimited
line length, global search/replace (on all buffers at once), block
operations, automatic indentation, word wrapping, filename completion, a
directory browser, duplicate removal from prompt histories, and delimiter
matching.

Changes: Rectangular block mode has been added. Encoding/decoding for
Base64, Rot-13, and Rot-47 have been added. Decoding of Quoted-Printable
text has been added. Decoding of UTF-8 text to ISO-8859-15 and ISO-8859-1
has been added. A new help key "C-h" has been added. "C-q F2" now shows
the number of buffers saved. The "goto_matching_delimiter" keys were
changed to "A-f" and "A-g". The status line now shows the end of long
filenames. The "configure" and "Makefile.in" files have been modified to
be more GNU-standards compliant.

About: GPuTTY is a PuTTY clone using the Gnome environment. It can store
and launch telnet and SSH sessions. It's not a terminal emulator.

About: TreeLine is used to organize and store text data in a tree
structure. It is well suited to keeping track of many different types of
information. Each node of the tree can contain several defined fields,
forming a mini-database. The format of each node can be defined, and the
output can be shown on the screen, printed, or exported to HTML. The tree
structure is navigated and edited in the left pane of the window, while
various views of the child data are shown and editable in the right pane.
The data is stored in XML text files. TreeLine is based on the PyQt

About: VMware allows you to run 'virtual machines' inside a Linux host. It
is not an emulator. It provides a virtual computer within the host which
can boot whichever OS you decide to put on the filesystem image that is
used as a harddrive. It will run DOS 6.22, Win 3.1, Win9x,
WinNT/2000/XP/2003, Linux, Novell, and more. The only main requirement is
a 400 MHz or better machine, along with lots of RAM (128M minimum, 256M
recommended).
