The goal is to provide an easy-to-use, yet powerful and complete interface

Changes: This release adds DialogThumbnail to allow an easy creation of a
chapter menu, a complete redesign of the Subtitles GUI and improved
Subtitle rendering, and automatic generation of subtitles for DV material
(Date/Time stamp; you have to have dv2sub installed to use this). It
implements support for multiple Subtitle and Audio tracks and improves the
transcoding functions/commands. You can now specify a border around the
letters, which looks much nicer.

About: amforth is a distribution of Forth running on the AVR ATmega
microcontroller. Once put into flash, it needs only a serial connection to
the host computer. New words are compiled directly into flash, thus
extending the dictionary immediately. It is ans94 Forth oriented with some
minor exclusions and a few words from the extension word sets. It is
written in assembly language and Forth itself. The main development uses
ATmega8 and ATmega32 controllers; other ATmega controllers should work
with small adjustments.

Changes: This release adds support for the AVR Butterfly board and
preliminary support for the AREXX asuro mini-robot. Some internal changes
to ease multitarget development were done. Some bugs were fixed.

About: AstroBuffer is a CCD astrophotography image manipulation
application. It can open FITS and SBIG (st9) files. Contrast is adjustable
to view different backgrounds and ranges of an image. It can scale, shift,
rotate, and zoom in and out. Images can be aligned based on two star
alignment, and can be summed, subtracted, averaged, and divided. RGB color
images can be created from three images. Images can be saved as FITS or as
any format that KDE supports.

Changes: An error message box gets shown if an exception occurs. The scipy
histogram is used to improve speed. getHistograms was fixed for color
images, so green and blue are in the correct order. The ColorRGBDocument
code was reorganized. An undo/redo feature was added.

an ongoing research effort focusing on applying empirical techniques in
order to provide portable performance. It provides C and Fortran77

About: biffles does what does the "procmail" MDA does, but in one run. It
is meant to be used off-line by dial-up clients where mail is fetched via
a nightly cron-job, amassed localy, and then sorted.

Changes: This release moves the mailbox engine interface into modules
(with the intention to support alternate engines). It adds a --dump
commandline option. Report mode now knows about stdout. The mailbox type
(mbox, maildir, etc.) can now be forced in the configuration.

About: Checkbot is a tool to verify links on a set of HTML pages. Checkbot
can check a single document, or a set of documents on one or more servers.
Checkbot creates a report which summarizes all links which caused some
kind of warning or error.

Changes: Documents are correctly parsed to avoid problems with UTF-8
documents. This avoids the "Parsing of undecoded UTF-8 will give garbage
when decoding entities" messages. Regular expressions are allowed in the
suppression file, and the program complains if the suppression file is not
a proper file. Handling of HTTP and FTP servers that have problems
responding to HEAD requests is now more robust. The original URL is used
to report problems. XHTML compliance was ensured.

itself. It is basic, but very functional and helpful. It is small, fast,
and easy in use. It consists of one binary file (plus an icon for the

Changes: Now a user can create a new simple Qt project and modify a
current project from the program level. A new project parser was
implemented. A new class parser was implemented.

About: JSBSim is a multi-platform flight dynamics model. The FDM is
essentially the physics/math model that defines the movement of an
aircraft under the forces and moments applied to it using the various
control mechanisms and from the forces of nature. JSBSim has no native
graphics. It can be run by itself as a standalone program, taking input
from a script file and various aircraft configuration files, or it can be
run as an integrated part of a larger flight simulator implementation that
includes a visual system. The most notable usage example is the FlightGear
simulator. JSBSim models the aerodynamic forces and moments by the classic
coefficient buildup method.

Changes: Among the most important changes is the addition of code to
reduce landing gear jitter.
