About: Blitz templates is a fast template engine written in C and compiled
as a PHP module. It started as a php_templates replacement, but developed
into much more. It is based on extensible template controllers (custom
view classes in PHP) and weakly-active templates (simple logic in HTML).
Benchmarks show that it is one of the fastest template engines for PHP,
even though it's not trivial and makes Web application closer to the MVC2
architecture model. It was designed for big Internet projects with a lot
of complex presentation logic.

About: The PreludeDB Library provides an abstraction layer upon the type
and format of the database used to store Prelude (IDMEF) events. Prelude
is a hybrid Intrusion Detection framework implementing an open
communication layer for use by any security application. The library
allows developers to use the Prelude IDMEF database easily and efficiently
without worrying about SQL, and independently of the type/format of the
database used.

Changes: Case-insensitive regular expressions are provided with SQLite3.
preludedb-admin can load multiple files. Substring matching is provided
for the AdditionalData value. An insertion issue for ProcessArg and File
Linkage was fixed. A bug which occurred when retrieving an empty time
field was fixed. When a given SQL function is not implemented by the
driver, a detailed error message is returned. Python only get_values,
get_heartbeat_idents, and get_alert_idents were implemented. The number of
rows is returned as well as the rows in a tuple. A check is made to ensure
that there is an exception to process, which fixes a crash with Python
bindings upon signal reception.

About: XHTML Family Tree Generator is a CGI Perl script together with some
Perl modules that will create views of a family tree from a supplied data
file. The data file is either a simple text, an Excel, or GEDCOM file
listing the family members, parents, and other details. It is possible to
show a tree of ancestors and descendants for any person, showing any
number of generations. Other facilities are provided for showing email
directories, birthday reminders, facehall, and more. It has a simple
configuration, makes heavy use of CGI (and other CPAN modules), generates
valid XHTML, and has support for Unicode and multiple languages.

Changes: Handling of GEDCOM files and serialized files was added.
photo_url was introduced as a setting option to allow decoupling the perl
scripts and the photo files.

About: Zim is a WYSIWYG text editor written in Gtk2-Perl It aims to bring
the concept of a wiki to your desktop. Every page is saved as a text file
with wiki markup. Pages can contain links to other pages, and are saved
automatically. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a non-existing
page. Pages are ordered in a hierarchical structure that gives it the look
and feel of an outliner. This tool is intended to keep track of TODO lists
or to serve as a personal scratch book.

Changes: New features include the option to update links when moving
pages, drag-drop linking from the side-pane, options to copy media when
exporting, and the option to set a size for inserted images. Also, a large
number of bugfixes and minor interface updates were done.
