About: Bacula is a set of programs that allow you to manage the backup,
recovery, and verification of computer data across a network of different
computers. It is based on a client/server architecture and is efficient
and relatively easy to use, while offering many advanced storage
management features that make it easy to find and recover lost or damaged
files.
Changes: This release fixes authorization problems and a segfault in error
exit of acquire_for_read after unsuccessfully trying to switch drives by
checking for blocking before unblocking. It will cancel the storage daemon
in all cases where FD reports an error, and will ensure that devices are
released as soon as possible. The migration code will now get the Volume
name correct in case of multiple volumes by skipping | symbols, and using
"m" in bconsole will show messages as in prior versions, and not memory
usage. Several other fixes are included.

Changes: The development release branch (2.x) has been started. The

About: Diogenes comprises a set of Perl scripts designed for searching the
Latin and ancient Greek texts published on CD-Rom by the Packard Humanities
Institute and the Thesaurus Linguae Graecae. Components include a Perl
module, a command-line interface, and a CGI script with an HTTP server
that is capable of delivering texts as HTML, PDF or GIF (via LaTeX). Texts
can be searched by means of regular expressions, or in the case of the TLG,
via the Greek word index. There is also a browser that can seek out
passages by location.
Changes: This release adds Perseus morphological data for Greek and Latin
and the LSJ and Lewis-Short dictionaries. You can jump from text to
dictionary, clicking on a word to get its definition, and jump from
dictionary to text, clicking on a citation to view its context. You can
also now do morphologically-aware searches, to search for all of the
inflected forms of a given verb. Diogenes now has a graphical user
interface based on Firefox. It should be very easy to install, much more
so than in the past.

its goals for identity management, single sign on, authorization,
federation, and accountability for resource access in a very extensible
manner. The ESOE is built using the OASIS SAML 2.0 specification, and the

the OASIS XACML 2.0 standard called Lightweight eXtensible Authorization
Control Markup Language or "LXACML".

and enabled by default. rsyslog has been made the new syslog daemon. Big

x86_64 kernel now also supports tickless operation. The need for xfs has

About: JSBlend is a cross-platform, Web-based file comparison and merge
tool written mostly in Javascript. It can display differences in two files
and allow the user to selectively merge them by editing one of the files.
While JSBlend is a general purpose diff/merge tool, it is especially
suitable for managing conflicts in configuration files on servers after an
update. Many server machines do not have any GUI framework installed, and
are often run in headless mode on remote sites. Using desktop-based GUI
tools for merging the conflicts is not always possible. JSBlend can be a
very useful tool when either used standalone or embedded inside an
existing administration console.
Changes: This version supports reading and writing files from remote
machines using SCP, HTTP, and HTTPS. A command line interface is now

About: Widelands is an economic and military simulation game. The map is
shown in parallel perspective with 3-dimensional terrain. Buildings and
units are animated. The player controls a tribe. Land is claimed and held
by military presence and then used to build an economy to support military
expansion and confrontation. The project is a work in progress where much
remains to be done; computer players and multiplayer are in very early
stages of development. Some features that have already been implemented
are exploration, fog of war, sound effects, background music, adjustable
simulation speed, a few tutorial campaigns, translations to several
languages, and a map editor.
Changes: A player will now only see the map where he has worker presence.
When abandoning an area, he will only know what it looked like, but not be
informed about changes thereafter. Player commands are now saved while
playing. Loading a state and the command sequence makes it possible to
watch the game being replayed. This release adds animal animations (deer,
fox, and wild boar), falling tree animations, autosave, loading progress
indicator, sound volume sliders, and new maps. The set of campaigns is now
defined in a config file, not C++ source. Some infamous bugs were fixed,
and the code has been cleaned up further.
