About: /etc/net represents a new approach to Linux network configuration
tasks. Inspired by the limitations of traditional network configuration
subsystems, /etc/net provides built-in support for configuration profiles,
interface name management, removable devices, full iproute2 command set,
interface dependencies resolution, QoS, and firewall configuration
frameworks. /etc/net provides support for the following interface types:
ethernet, WiFi (WEP), IPv4/IPv6 tunnels, PSK IPSec tunnels, VLAN, PLIP,
ethernet bonding and bridging, traffic equalizer, Pent@NET, Pent@VALUE,
SkyStar-2, TUN/TAP, OpenVPN TUN/TAP, usbnet, and PPP. Due to its modular
structure, support for new interface types can be added without overall
design changes.

Changes: This maintenance release features fixes for DHCP and VLAN

About: 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons Character Generator is an
HTML/JavaScript Web page that allows the user to quickly and easily create
new Dungeons and Dragons characters. The characters can be of any of the
eleven classes, any of the playable races, and may start at any level from
1 to 220. Generation requires some simple input, after which the character
is displayed on a basic character sheet. It allows you to select your
starting stats, add ability points, and pick skills, equipment, feats, and
spells. It runs on most operating systems with most modern browsers.

Changes: Non-human characters now get the proper number of skill points to
the Move Silently skill.

About: Autossh is a program to monitor and automatically  reestablish SSH
connections. It is similar to  rstunnel (Reliable SSH Tunnel), however, it
is  implemented in C, and is easier to set up and use,  especially for
connections to multiple hosts.  Autossh has been compiled and tested on 
OpenBSD, Linux, and Solaris, and should run  without needing changes on
FreeBSD and NetBSD. 

Changes: This release adds a maximum lifetime option, a compile time
option for touching the PID file on each connection test, and a fix for
looping on poll.

code. It manages windows in tiled, maximized, and floating layouts. It is
extremely small, rather fast, and supports Xft. It features nice
titlebars, multiple desktops, theming support, a simple configuration
file, the ability to switch desktops with the mouse wheel, X bitmaps for
title buttons, and true transparency support (through xcompmgr). There is
no need to recompile or restart X to change its configuration.

About: House Of Mirrors (HoM) is a logic game inspired by  Chromatron
(from Silver SpaceShip Software). The game consists of a 2D grid in which
several types of objects are found, including detectors and mirrors. The
goal is simple: light up all the detectors using emitted or reflected rays
of light. Usually, you can move and rotate the mirrors but not the
detectors. In each level, the choice of available objects is limited.
There can be more than one solution for each level. Levels can be created
by users in hand-editable XML format and shared with others.

Changes: Game levels are now available as Game Packs. This allows easy
navigation of levels. A default level called "rowhouses" has been added.
It contains 15 levels (tutorial + challenges).

About: I'm Cross! is a script that installs a C/C++ cross-compiler
toolchain that targets Microsoft Windows on a developer's Linux
workstation. Additionally, it installs cross-compiled versions of various

is an easy way to set up a Linux workstation to simultaneously build Linux

About: Msort sorts files in sophisticated ways. Records may be fixed size,
newline-separated blocks, or terminated by any specified character. Key
fields may be selected by position, tag, or character range. For each key,
distinct exclusions, multigraphs, substitutions, and a sort order may be
defined or locale collation rules used. Comparisons may be lexicographic,
numeric, numeric string, hybrid, random, by string length, angle, domain
name, date, time, month name, or ISO8601 timestamp. Keys may be reversed
so as to generate reverse dictionaries. Optional keys are supported.
Unicode is supported, including full case-folding. Msort itself has a
somewhat complex command line interface, but may be driven by an optional
GUI. 

Changes: This release fixes a bug in compilation without libuninum and
overly restrictive validation of character ranges.

About: mylvmbackup is a Perl script for quickly creating backups of a
MySQL server's data files. To perform a backup, mylvmbackup obtains a read
lock on all tables and flushes all server caches to disk, makes an LVM
snapshot of the volume containing the MySQL data directory, and unlocks
the tables again. The snapshot process takes only a small amount of time.
When it is done, the server can continue normal operations while the
actual file backup proceeds.

Changes: A bug in the InnoDB recovery function has been fixed: the second
mysqld process clobbered the socket file of the primary MySQL instance.
This release uses the correct mysqld parameter to provide an alternative
PID file (--pid-file instead of --pidfile). An option "--skip_mycnf" has
been added to skip including a copy of the MySQL configuration file in the
backup. A safety check that the file actually exists prior to backing it up
has been added.

About: Yoxel SW is an agile product management solution allowing you to
maintain a continuous feedback loop with your customers while
collaboratively planning and implementing development iterations. It
includes a request/bug tracker, release manager, and knowledge/Q&A/FAQ
management system.

Changes: This release is mostly focused on improving UI and ease of use.
Prominent shortcut links were added to most common functions, such as Add
User, Add Product, and Start Iteration. Prerequisite checks and guide
alerts were added for a better first set-up experience. Guiding alerts
were added for the project/iteration planning session. The system now
guides you through the process of planning. Project manager now can
account for holiday/vacation time (when a resource is not working) in
addition to weekend days. Bugs were fixed.
